Whittlewood was very nearly a win for olympian95 who very definitely had the right idea when it came to that one.. Not that I'm in any way disappointed with the result there- just that none of us had an inkling that was coming, except maybe ricmk and even he didn't believe it. Well done robbienicoll and especially the respective week/month winners

Last week of my reign of terror! Only europeanlefty missing this week, with Robert Waller and David Boothroyd both scoring two faults for adding up to 98% in Fremington and 102% in North Hykeham Mill respectively. Syston Ridgeway, Leicestershire: 100% Conservative hold, with majorities ranging from 20% (priceofdawn) to 52% (ricmk), all over Labour Fremington, North Devon: 6 Independent win from previous Independent with Right Leaning, David Boothroyd and syorkssocialist Liberal Democrat gain and priceofdawn Conservative gain North Hykeham Mill, North Kesteven: 7 Lincs Independent gain from Conservative with hempie, Robert Waller and priceofdawn Conservative hold Skellingthorpe, North Kesteven: 9 Lincs Independent gain from Independent with priceofdawn Conservative gain. Spreadsheet available at docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1SfFM6QCIjO4dyuCV5qmo5BbaAVkWBdxBPe4aI9gz5eQ/edit?usp=sharing - good luck to all!

Quick calculation in my head ( not always reliable) while we await the verdict of the spreadsheet (which is), but I think this is probably the point where Robert says how very cross he is at the outcome he didn't want at all. Bit like Belgium, really. edit- I think he was coming to the same conclusion on the local by-election thread at almost the same moment

My quick calculation is that we have the usual outcome😀.

Yes not even desperate measures like not adding up to 100 could save him from himself which I take to be the equivalent of Belgium collecting extra yellow cards.

Less like Belgium and England and more like Senegal and Japan this came right down to the wire, was only Fremington that separated Robert and Hempie at the end. The health warning that it was all to play for was very apt! Leicestershire, Syston Ridgeway: andrewp picks up the win with 7.5, followed by greenrobinhood on 9.8 and yellowperil on 13.5. This was overall the lowest scoring contest of the week. Fremington, North Devon: Robert Waller gets the win with 8.7, yellowperil finishing in second with 13.7 and andrewp in third on 21.6 North Hykeham Mill, North Kesteven: Robert Waller gets another win with 29.5, with priceofdawn taking second on 32.5 and hempie in third on 35.5. Skellingthorpe, North Kesteven: David Boothroyd wins with 9.7, Robert in second on 13.9 and andrewp third on 19.4 For the week this gives Robert Waller a clear win on 67.8, ahead of yellowperil in second on 90.3 with hempie in third on 94.7. This means that Robert does indeed squeak the month with 441.5 faults, squeaking hempie on 450.0 and yellowperil in third on 462.7. Congratulations to all and especially to the weekly and monthly winner! Results are all available in the spreadsheet further upthread. Thank you all for what's been a great competition, it's had everything including nearly unseating the incumbent! I'm assuming middleenglander will be starting a new thread for next month, where I'll have my return to making you all look better
