Kerkrade, one of the PVVs strongest constituencies last time has seen them edged ever so narrowly into second by the PvdA.

Why is Boxmeer such a stronghold for the Socialist Party? I suspect the Americans would refer to it as rust belt and you would call it a sh*thole!

CDA results in the south are so bad that the only appropriate response is laughter. We're talking single digits in places that used to vote 90% KVP...

As someone who has only been to tourist Amsterdam I would admit tointerest but no knowledge. I would guess that the depths of Limburg are probably less ethnic than the big cities but should wiki it.
Amend. Not Limburg. North Brabant.

The big cities will have gone heavily PvdA (Amsterdam was actually Labour's strongest municipality in 2010, though that probably won't be the case this time).

One of the first major urban areas to declare is Delft. PvdA quite comfortably increase their lead over VVD.
The Pirate vote there has increased from 0.2% to 0.7%, which is interesting as their vote is expected to come mostly from the cities, especially Amsterdam, and 0.7% overall would be enough to win a single seat.
EDIT: Never mind. Amsterdam just declared and the Pirates only scored 0.5%, that's probably finished their chances.

Amsterdam just came in and pushed the PvdA into first place. About 370,000 votes in total were cast there.

Interesting to see the Calvinist party winning in opposite sides of the country, in Rijssen-Holten and Tholen.

SGP support forms a funny little belt that runs diagonally through the country.
