Hmmm... Partij voor de Dieren PvdA SP Partij voor Mens en Spirit (?) GroenLinks ... VVD is at the bottom. I imagine I'd be in either the SP or GL in the Netherlands, but almost certainly not the PvdA. Not sure I'd seriously consider joining the Dieren/Animals party either. Part of the problem with that quiz was that a lot of the questions were along the lines of 'such and such should remain as it is' without it being obvious what the presumed counter-proposal would be.

I got SP as my first choice, marginally in front of the PvdA, the Partij voor de Dieren, Piratenpartij and GroenLinks. VVD was bottom.
In reality I'm pretty certain I'd prefer the PvdA to the SP and there's no way in hell I'd even consider voting Partij voor de Dieren.

From closest match to furthest: Partij voor de Dieren GroenLinks PvdA SP Partij voor Mens en Spirit 50Plus Piratenpartij Partij van de Toekomst PVV ChristenUnie D66 Liberaal Democratische Partij SOPN CDA SGP Nederland Lokaal Libertarische Partij Democratisch Politiek Keerpunt Anti Europa Partij VVD
Probably pretty spot on, I'd either vote PvdD or GL.
Almost all of my Dutch friends have said they plan to vote Piratenpartij, but then all my Dutch friends are huge internet nerds... I wouldn't entirely count them out on a seat though. Hopefully PvdD and GL each make a couple of gains too.

I got Which I find confusing. Why does it say "disagree" at the top and "agree" at the bottom? I clicked on "Neither" for quite a lot of questions where I didn't know about the details of proposals or the context of the debate. And there were some really weird questions, e.g. closing coffee shops and banning the building of mosques.

I guess the other problem with the test is that it ignores that the Partij voor de Dieren is essentially a 'testimonial' party for animal rights, even if they do notionally adopt broadly left-wing stances on most issues. I didn't actually support increasing taxes on meat, for instance, yet it still came out on top for me.

Polls close at 8pm, our time. An exit poll is published just after polls close.

Had a look at that. The problem is not knowing the context. On some such as Coffee Shops it is easy, but for example on Sunday Trading I am unclear whether they currently have a ban and want to allow it in some authorities or the converse.

Yeah, I had to Google that one. They have relaxed trading at the moment. Banning all Sunday trading is a cornerstone policy of the SGP (Calvinist Christian-right) campaign.

Scoring well with the social-liberals, but economically a bit all over the place. Green Left followed by Libertarians...

I got the 50 Plus Party first! And even more strangely, D66 and the VVD were 3rd and 1st last respectively.

If accurate, VVD/PvdA could form a two-party grand coalition.
The PvdA/SP/GL alliance would be 17 short of a majority.
