They have one councillor now as one (sue Levell) became Independent last year. She has endorsed Claire Smith who is also a former LD councillor for another ward (North Kinson - as is LD candidate Pat Lewis) www.redhillandnorthbourne.com/

And the Labour candidate is the independant who stood in this ward last year and came within 52 votes of the bottom placed Conservative (who is also their candidate this time). Hence why I think Labour might pull off a surprise with the LD vote splitting to the independant, the conservatives lose something of a personal vote whilst Labour perhaps gain one and a swing from Con to Lab generally since last May.
Given my form this month, it's not very likely though.

That I hadn't noticed. I did notice that the Independent candidate in Eastbourne was a former Labour candidate but that is probably rather less useful

Despite the large number of candidates in the Bournemouth BE, only the Labour candidate appears to actually live in the ward.

Given my form this month, it's not very likely though. We shall see tonight though many of the Ind votes last time probably came from the LD's who only fielded 2 candidates so they are starting nearer the 539 votes the Labour candidate polled rather than the 1027 of the Independent .

Congratulations to greatkingrat - it's been a long time coming, but thoroughly deserved.
Had a bad start this month and then a couple of gambles that didn't come off

Looks like 4 of the results reported last night had errors in some of the figures. I do not think they affect the monthly order but will double check later.

Congratulations to greatkingrat and Safc26.
I was pleased to get fourth place this month, as I'm a newbie to the competition.

To be fair, if it wasn't for Twitter we wouldn't have any results at all until the Council got round to putting them on their website the next day.
