12 entries this week with nothing again from safc26 and a cameo prediction from LeicesterLad. 100% holds in Blaby (Labour) apart from LeicesterLad, Charnwood (Conservative), Essex (Lib Dem) and Kensington & Chelsea (Conservative). 11 Lib Dem holds in Chelmsford with ianrobo going for a Conservative gain. 11 Conservative holds in South Northants with PhilDav76 predicting a Lib Dem gain - was this a transposition problem? D'oh yes a total muck up there from me. I must have typed the Conservative figure in first as they are alphabetically before Liberal Democrats and didn't stop that the candidates were the other way round.

I would be a lot more annoyed with myself if I was in contention.

Was there a convention that faults were capped at 100 per contest because that is the number you would get for not even entering a prediction? I don;t think it had ever happened before but Dibs managed it last week in Durham

I added about 5% to the LDs in Grange Park because I thought there might be a bit of a backlash against the Tory candidate but it didn't happen.

I don;t think it had ever happened before but Dibs managed it last week in Durham I thought about whether there had been a previous occasion but came to the conclusion it was in any event somewhat academic. Dibs set the precedent last week.

I wouldn't be fooled by GKR lurking in the second half of this week's table after two thirds of the contests ...

Congratulations to Andrew for a deserved win!
And to Greatkingrat for this week.
Bit more of a return to form for me this week after a horrendous start to the month.

This win's been a long time coming, and is a great reward for all the work on Atlas/Britain-Votes previews I've done. I think I had an entirely clear month without incurring a wrong-winner penalty, which is some going.
That big lead was, of couse, entirely based on that Gwynedd by-election two weeks back which fooled all of you. Take that result out and greatkingrat would have beaten me by 7.1 faults. As tonyotim said further up the thread, Gwynedd exists to make fools of us all and the next Gwynedd by-election will probably fool me as well.
