That's what you get for selecting someone so awful in the first place. I thought it was just me that found her extremely irritating...... She certainly has been one of the more, er, interesting MPs. Interesting postcript to the Tory A-list too. Also makes me wonder if there were other things like www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-14342674 somewhere, that certain journalists might be looking for. |

This will be the first byelection of this parliament to be held in a Conservative seat. It will be interesting to say the least.

This is also good for Labour's chances in the other byelections on 15 November - Corby will get all the media attention rather than Cardiff South or Manchester Central.

This will be the first byelection of this parliament to be held in a Conservative seat. It will be interesting to say the least. finally a proper by election, one that Cameron certainly would not have wanted and I take this resgination on face value. the fact she got an awful lot of stick for her views and little defence may have had pusghed her the last straw |

Well, that was a big success wasn't it - I mean the Tories' decision to select Louise Mensch in the first place in the expectation she'd serve at least one full term as MP if elected. |

Cardiff South hasn't acrtually been called for 15th Nov yet has it? I know in all probability it will be, but Mancester and Coby have however both been at least announced for 15th November |

The woman is a joke and so is the A-list she represents. They deprived some decent candidate of a chance in Corby to parachute this woman in and now its just about certain to be delivered back to Labour
