I hope Yellow Peril's difficulties are alleviated as much as possible.
There are far more important things than the Prediction Competition.

I find it really interesting that people rate Labour's chances better in Wandsworth than High Peak

As you can see. I'm back. Basically I didn't post this week because my internet connection failed for the vital couple of days and the combination of that together with my ongoing domestic situation and my particular medical problems of this week (also ongoing but somewhat alleviated by being lent some powerful reading glasses, a bit easier than a magnifying glass) meant that I found it all too difficult.
Congratulations to the leading couple! The irony was that had I submitted my back of envelope calculations which were sort-of ready 24 hours before the deadline and before my internet failed, I would have actually won in Wandsworth and High Peak, and even though some of the others were much less to the point, I think I would have been third overall though still behind hempie and Robert.
Now I have to see whether its worth trying to do the next two weeks at 10 contests each and still struggling with my eyesight.when I have a 500-fault deficit to make up.

I did not predict such a high Con to Lib Dem swing in Gospel Oak because in the June general election the Lib Dem increases in both Camden constituencies were very modest to say the least. It is however clear that the absence of a Green candidate in that by-election did not benefit Labour contrary to what some watermelons say.
