Minehead North is coloured blue because the Conservative candidate came first alphabetically. That's just as well, because I don't think you have a shade to hand for successful National Bocialist candidates. Nice to see maps for some very pleasant parts of the country!

Is this the only current example of a party winning the GE seat yet having zero representation at LA level ? (or does the Watford parliamentary seat extend beyond these wards?)

Is this the only current example of a party winning the GE seat yet having zero representation at LA level ? (or does the Watford parliamentary seat extend beyond these wards?) The constituency includes parts of Carpenders Park (3 Conservative councillors) and Oxhey Hall & Hayling (2LD, 1 Con) in Three Rivers district.

Ah thanks lancastrian. Thought it wouldve been bizarre to say the least!

A decade ago they didn't have seats in either of those Three Rivers areas either. Carpenders Park looked reasonably safe last year though.

The Conservatives also won Gade Valley in 2015 which is partly in Watford constituency. Since lost in a byelection.
