Could be very interesting considering the many questions that are arising about the Freeport and how that is being financed.

Surely Houchen hangs up his boots here? Lab gain possibly.

I expect a big swing to labour but a Tory hold

Who is about to go for a third job, if you believe persistent rumours.

Two jobs Ben shouldn't get elected here again. That is perhaps a better epithet for Ben Bradley? There could be some argument that the Lords isn’t a job when there’s no salary as such

The Green Party have selected a candidate here. Sally Bunce, a well-known local environmental campaigner, who lives in Easington in East Cleveland.
Not a particularly good area for the Greens (the only borough where they hold seats is Darlington) but this will obviously hurt Labour.

It's a blink-and-you'd-miss-it small village to the east of Loftus. We had the last house on the right (that wasn't a farm) on the main road as you headed towards Whitby. I left there in 1983 to move to Birmingham, my parents moved to Middlesbrough soon afterwards and I never went back.

This poll seems to be unusually dodgy, with a weird sample and no weighting. ElectionMapsUK on Twitter says the "methodology is absolutely dire" and has deleted it.

I can see him losing. I can't see him losing by a landslide.
