If the Lib Dems get over the line and win the South West seat it will probably have an effect on how many seats they win on the Londonwide list? How many votes approx would Fox need to get elected as a list member? Given he has a significant following online could he come close if he marshalls his supporters effectively? Highly unlikely I assume. Is there any significant difference between having 2 on the list and 1 list and one seat? Perhaps voters may identify more with an elected seat representative than someone on a list? Only difference is really the second list member missing out (unless it’s the same person)

Indeed - I was thinking the same point exactly. And our #2 on the list is Mayoral candidate Rob Blackie!

I remember the Welsh Tory Leader (2011 election I think) lost his list seat because of other constituency gains in his region. Think there might also have been a ban on dual constituency and list candidacies in Wales at the time, never been such a ban in Scotland though

Other than the self-explanatory ones which are named after boroughs, West Central is Hammersmith/Fulham, Kensington/Chelsea & Westminster : City & East is the City of London, Tower Hamlets, Barking/Dagenham & Newham : North-East is Islington, Hackney & Waltham Forest. South-West is Hounslow, Kingston-upon-Thames & Richmond-upon-Thames. If that is what you were asking. (The GLA constituencies all have Wikipedia entries for future reference.)

The crosstabs seem to have their own regions - Central, North, South, East, and West. Based on the weighting values, North appears to be the smallest by some margin, with the other four fairly similar sizes (East perhaps a little larger). It may correspond to these planning regions (which are a little arbitrary in places) but it's hard to tell - as seen here - the numbers themselves do help in places (for instance the Lib Dems poll well in South suggesting it probably is more like the planning region which includes Kingston, Sutton, and Merton - rather than the traditional definition of South London more centred on Wandsworth, Lambeth, Southwark, and Lewisham).

Here in Lambeth, the Tories are getting less votes than Reform and possibly also the Rejoin EU party on the list.

There's 10 of them up there now. List is going to be fairly tight but I think I'd tip london(ex)tory for a list place at this stage.
