That is a legitimate criticism though. Pollsters really should be prompting for the Brexit Party now especially seen as they just came top in the European elections. But then they wouldn't have a headline to tout! Which was the whole of point of doing it that way.
Farage is wrong to call it Fake polling though. They are just asking the question in a different way. All polling is like this. It isn't fact, and shouldn't be treated as such.
Yeah 'fake' is an inaccurate, very Trumpian word to use. However when you fail to prompt for a party that has a significant amount of support it will depress their vote share a bit and so the poll will have a significant degree of bias and thus not be as reliable as it would otherwise have been if they had prompted.

Miaow.
He'll be happy with his retirement presents I suspect.
Was just kidding. Vince actually did a great job during the European election. The question is can the next leader step up and be as good as cease the day? I don't think either Swinson or Davey have the right vision or even charisma, but they do have momentum and will probably get more coverage. They're not stupid, so either would probably use those well.

Charisma is in short supply and as a word of Greek origin will be heavily taxed once we leave the EU, making it even more difficult to obtain.

I think polls at the moment and the next few weeks are and will be pretty "fake". People are angery and venting in these polls. It doesn't reflect reality. It's just bash the establishment over Brexit and silly season. Gosh, we don't even know who the Prime Minster will be going into the next GE.

The GE will be fought under FPTP, that will focus the mind approaching the election. Dead easy to vote for other parties in a meaningless election with PR. A GE is a real election, running the country, affecting people's real lives.

I'm fine, if I want cheering up the fact this very same poll gives ChUK a full 1% of the vote(*) will do the trick (*and of course YouGov has tended to give them higher figures until now, including their all time best of 18% - will they actually be negative with other pollsters?)

I wonder how many people know what the MEP's do.

OK then, you win. The next GE will see a LibDem government and Brexit Party opposition - or will it be the other way round? Carry on
