I don't know if Biden is dyspraxic. I understand from upthread he has an ABI which might look like dyspraxic tenancies. I meander but Ive always considered it a dyslexic tendency. Processing information in a different way to how it is presented and failing to respond appropriately or match a coherent thought process I would doubt he was dyspraxic; I know two people at fairly opposite ends of the age range who have dyspraxia and it manifests itself very differently from Biden. Both have poor hand-eye cordination, both can stumble over their own shadow, have poor balance (the younger friend was diagnosed because she kept falling over in her PE class at school). She has a fairly noticeable speech difficulty, the other is a published poet who does public readings of her work, but can’t type without relying heavily on autocorrect. Biden has in the past had a habit of speaking very quickly, especially when reading - if you look at him swearing in new Senators as VP they’ve barely processed “raise your right hand” by the time he’s read the oath and asking them to confirm they “do solemnly swear”, but apparently he’s been working with a voice coach who has recommended a slower, more deliberate delivery. i am definitely the trip over my shadow type. I used to be fairly sporty and can remember on at least two occasions running in one direction while looking in the other led to me landing face first. I don't have a speech impediment. I was forced to learn to touch type from an early age and it was god send

It does seemed to have dawned on people this year that having early voting weeks ahead (either by post or in person) is seriously flawed for the Presidential Primaryand has effectively disenfranchised millions of voters. Yes, early voting is always touted as being sort of progressive, but in this context it is actually regressive.

I am dyspraxic and used to have noticeable speech impediments, now gone, which can come back in stressful and tired situations. I was appallingly socially awkward when younger, could neither kick nor catch a ball to save my life, was forever running into walls, getting lost and struggling to put my jacket on - plus other things. I can see mild dyspraxic tendencies in Biden in his word confusion, his losing his place, his subject jumping (which I do), his stammering (I had three distinct speech problems!), his mixing up names and people, et al.

Yes, like I said it was the apparent lack of coordination problems in Biden that leant me away from dyspraxia - it was said he held his own on the miniature basketball court Obama had installed at the White House, and I’ve seen him throw a couple of ceremonial first pitches at Major League Baseball games, and they’ve been relatively accurate. I’d have thought it was one of those things that would’ve been diagnosed in his annual medical reports as well.

I can drop-kick a ball now, but couldn't until I was 40-odd. I was so chuffed that I kept doing it for my dog to chase and ended up with an injury which my GP put down to "not doing athletic stretches before sport activity". Actually, if you look at the recent hoo-ha about him mixing up his wife and sister, it was due to where he thought they were behind him in different places ("they switched on me").

AOC could have gone in the "Stupidity" thread for this... Why post such a disingenuous tweet? AOC was referring to the large number of closed polling stations, and the lack of polling stations in college towns such as Ann Arbor leading to extremely long lines (3h+) for young voters, nothing to do with Black turnout.

My older friend has a two year old grandson and has discovered she can manage short-distance catch with him but is a season ticket holder at Chelsea and misses out on numerous player’s shirts being thrown into the ground at the end of a match (in fact one ex-player, David Luiz, now I think at Arsenal, discovered this and made a point of finding her and giving her his shirt personally). That was my immediate thought with Biden; the people behind are choreographed to stand in a certain place; there’s a clip somebody put on YouTube of a successful Australian candidate thanking his family and then unable to locate his dad who had got his priorities right and was still at the bar.

Wyoming has cancelled the 'in-person' part of its caucus and is now effectively a vote-by-mail RCV primary.

Due to the Corona virus the Wyoming Democrats are suspending the in-person portion of their caucus, scheduled for April 4, and switching to an all vote-by-mail system. Wyoming was the last remaining state caucus (there are couple left in the territories).

The Louisiana primary has been moved from 4 April to 20 June due to the Coronavirus epidemic.

The Louisiana primary has been moved from 4 April to 20 June due to the Coronavirus epidemic. That would have been significant if the race had been where we expected post Super Tuesday. i.e Sanders leading but Biden competitive and trying to catch up. In that scenario Louisiana would have been an important state for Biden.

Bernie's best performance yet. He only got 51% in Vermont.

Georgia has delayed its primary from March 24 to May 19. As a consequence of Louisiana's delay to June 20, LA's primary is dated at a point past DNC recommendations (though still prior to the convention), so the state party is currently scheduled to take a penalty to the number of delegates it is allocated. Hopefully, the DNC will alter the rules to circumvent this issue.

Dave Leip have a nice breakdown of the present Californian primary votes in each Congressional District.
Sanders' best is the 40th @ 55.5%. District is 86.5% Latino.
