You beat me to it froome the precautionary principe, a key part of Green policy, with both mobile phones and WIFI, these are new developments we just don't know if there could be potential health concerns longterm. Does your "precautionary principle" extend to immigration? Oh lets let leave these refugees to stew in a cesspit somewhere over there, will that make it more likely they will develop a love for Western society or be drawn into a war against the West.

The party have an 'aspiration' or long term policy of open borders, when conditions are right, but of course open borders means open both ways. Then policy in full policy.greenparty.org.uk/mg.html

Then policy in full policy.greenparty.org.uk/mg.htmlWow!! Open both ways!!! So perhaps all the Brits might go to Somalia, Iraq, Romania and Syria? That is a bit worrying. Or should we be just a tad more worried about half the world coming here? Just a thought.

Yes, I think an aspiration for a world without borders, is a good aspiration, I can assure you that in no way are the Greens advocating open borders any time soon, and I cant see any policy coming into play which will substantially increase our population. Read our migration policy, it isn't that scary.

It was just the complete lack of thought lying behind 'an open border policy'. I was never a half-and-half man Mike. We lived full time in Italy for years. I am not a second-homer.

I understand that the Independent Anti-Heathrow Expansion candidate has been campaigning alongside Conservative Pro-Heathrow Expansion MPs.
Odd.

If you were it wouldn't bother me at all. I would agree that entirely open borders probably aren't practical but ideally that's the way I'd like it. And even so there's only so many people wanting to come here - and generally those resourceful enough to manage it will be an asset to the country.

The supporters of the Christian Peoples Alliance candidate, Dominic Stockford, a local "pastor", were outside Richmond station yesterday saying they wanted to put "Christian values back into politics". Their election leaflet says they So, apparently, Jesus preached free trade. They denounce Zac Goldsmith for voting for same sex marriage, abortion and assisted dying in these terms; Next to them were the Vote for Europe group, with a flapole flying the Union Jack and EU flag (with the EU flag on top), calling for a tactical vote for the LibDem candidate as a way to "stop Brexit in its tracks".
