After 8 I've dropped out of the running with Mark taking the lead and Robert, Maxque and David all bunched very closely just behind. Basingstoke not likely to have very much impact on that Greenhert in lead after 8? Yes

Congratulations to greenhert for the week and thanks to middleenglander for the results table format. Following on from the Ryder Cup - I found it interesting to compare the results above with a 'Matchplay' version. (9 Contests - 1 Point each for "winning" the contest). For this week that gives: Maxque with 3, myself with 2, greenhert with 1.5, Pete and David with 1 each and Mark Senior with 1/2. Clearly when I am wrong, I am *very* wrong...

Thank you for adding up, as ever, Middleenglander; and for trying a new layout. For my own part, I'd just opine that interesting as it looks, I found the 'old way' slightly easier to follow on here - and the new method doesn't work at all well on my i phone.
Any way, I blew it on the last result to declare - which often seems to happen. In this case, I overestimated a Liberal Democrat local byelection performance. usually hard to do!

That latest result from Swanley messed me up a bit - I reckon I was leading well for the week up until that point and gradually gaining on Maxque for the month. One thing I thought odd in the predictions was that with the exceptions of Maxque and myself, everybody predicted a bigger Lib Dem lead in the Windermere county seat than in Bowness North when the latter was clearly the safer of the two
