I hand't seen that, but you tend to put those up only after the prediction deadliine don't you? Must admit I'd not been over there since the live blogs seemed to have stopped. Whats happening with all that?

I'm really not sure what's going on with Britain-Votes. It's tombv who decides when to publish the previews; I tend to write them the preceding weekend as I'm normally busy on weeknights. Tom seems to be far too mobile for his own good and is on something like his fourth flat this year; he's also living and working in Brussels now which must make you rather semi-detached from the UK political scene.

I think its as well that they aren't published before the deadline anyway - the onus should be on competitors to properly research these things themselves

I remember last year, when I was more involved with the BNP, that English Democrat members online were claiming how their party are the "new thing'' for politics, to replace the BNP, and even UKIP. Now they can look back and realise what fools they were.
This by election was not a one off low result for the English Democrats, they are regularly polling under 1%.
