Julia Banks, Liberal to independent, Australian House of Representatives. Not that this matters very much. Ms Banks was already intending to stand down at the next Australian federal election, which must take place next year, and the Morrison government has already lost its majority. |

He had been the only GOP congressman to support impeachment of Donald Trump.

Rep Jeff Van Drew, US Representative for the 2nd district of New Jersey, from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party.
Represents a Trump voting district and was one of two/three Democratic congressmen to vote against the articles of impeachment. Had threatened to make the move if the Democrats went ahead with it.
Note the district is actually quite competitive and actually voted for the Democrat in most recent Presdential elections.

I particularly liked the one I saw in Weimar where the candidate put his very cute dog on there. They spend a lot of time trolling AfD. They are actually doing quite well in a quiet way, I suspect they are taking some of the Piraten vote. |

He's quite a weird choice by En Marche. He was 22nd of the list. He apparently has two "casseroles" hung to him since the announcement in the list. He was apparently simultaneously an advisor to the maltan and the french government. It made him resign his position for the french government. There was also something about the San Marino central bank.
