I've defected to the SDP. I've been a member since late September of them, and find them more of a proper home for me. Labour, I just can't back anymore due to the antisemitism and the hashjob they've done where I am. Furthermore, I can't back a party that wastes money and has an antisemitism problem locally.

Sorry but you're making no sense at all. Labour has made huge strides in terms of fighting antisemitism and I now feel welcome & valued, whereas 5 years ago the party basically told me to fuck off in its actions. Labour has got rid of its high-profile antisemites. You're not Jewish as far as I know & I find your reasoning unconvincing. How do you keep swinging from left to hard right back to left back to hard right, which is what the SDP now are despite their misleading name? I really don't like it when people use antisemitism spuriously as Frank Field did when he left the Labour Party (he cited antisemitism but had not shown the slightest interest in the issue up to that point) and as Ivan Lewis disgracefully did when he left too, as an attempt to cover the fact that he had been accused of highly improper & inappropriate conduct, much of it towards young Jewish women. I don't mean to be unkind but your reasoning seems to be totally lacking at best, and possibly spurious. Ask Jewish people what they think before you start going on about antisemitism, please, otherwise it's pretty performative.

He said locally though. I can well imagine, down in the South West around middle class Exeter dinner tables etc., that it's still an issue.
In terms of the SDP, they are pretty leftist in some of their economic views. They're basically quasi-nationalist soccon socdems, and that's a fairly common view to be fair to them. I'm not sure it can be described as "hard-right".

To be honest, I would expect it to be worse around Bristol.

To be honest, I would expect it to be worse around Bristol. Why? Such issues are a long, long way from the minds of voters in Hartcliffe, Avonmouth or Mangotsfield. Bristol isn't all Clifton and Redland
