Trumpista redneck being interviewed on CNN this morning said to the effect that:
1. The election was being rigged.
2. They would storm the White House.
3. They would be armed.
That's the impact of Trump winding up idiots like that month after month.

Unless we have a repeat of 2000, of course You bastard. You utter, utter bastard. Well I doubt if Florida will be the sticking point if that happens. That could be a very early declaration given the number of early votes cast and the upsurge in Latino turnout so far.

That's the impact of Trump winding up idiots like that month after month. Lord Ashcroft has released a new poll on this subject - How would Trump and Clinton supporters react to defeat tomorrow? This survey will form part of a major study of American voters to be published after the election. Other findings include:
14% of Republicans and 48% of Democrats say social liberalism has been a force for good.
28% of Republicans and 60% of Democrats say feminism has been a force for good.
35% of Republicans and 60% of Democrats say the Green movement has been a force for good.
23% of Republicans and 44% of Democrats say globalization has been a force for good.
18% of Republicans and 43% of Democrats say immigration has been a force for good.
41% of Republicans and 77% of Democrats say the climate is changing and that this is “mostly caused by humans doing things like burning fossil fuels”. 13% of Republicans and 5% of Democrats say the climate is not changing.
62% of Republicans and 32% of Democrats say the US Supreme Court “should base its decisions on the Constitution as it was originally written” rather than “its interpretation of what the Constitution means today”.
26% of Republicans and 41% of Democrats say that “in general, the US has benefited from free trade agreements with other countries”.

At least four grandparents? I had three "grandads". My maternal grandmother married twice.

All very well but if he can't produce at least four grandmothers I don't think he has much credibility.

Good Bye Mr. President and TY - thank you for the best 8 years of my political history; after watching one of the worst 8 years of my political history ...and for the many - many accomplishments that you managed to push/pull through despite the immature stonewalling by the GOP.
And these were just a drop in the bucket from what our country could have accomplished had our GOP been willing to compromise and work for their constituents instead of being decisive and the party of 'NO'! For example; voting down budget increases for veterans/elderly/food stamps/social security cost of living increase/fighting to block the ACA ...but trying to defund the Planned Parenthood with lies & deceitful faked videos - pushing through another deconstructed 'Abortion Bill', 11 times and then shoving a native American land grab bill back into a Defense spending bill so that the copper mining can take over some land in Arizona that Sen. John McCain had seen as his special project www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/12/12/defense-bill-passes-rio-tinto_n_6317946.html
Yes, indeed ...I'm so very proud of my POTUS #44 and fear the horror show that is ready to be sworn in and set up the big top in our WH!

Yeah! Thanks for presiding over the destruction and export of so many jobs; for the dither and fence sitting; the wrecking of the health care plans of millions of the middle class; letting Hispanics pour in; forgiving a traitor who caused so much damage and many deaths; and completely wrecking Syria and making no progress at all in the Middle East; causing a rift with Russia and letting China walk all over you.
Thank Woden he has gone. 8-wasted years initiated by being awarded a major prize before he had done anything at all, which rather prefaced a presidency of nothing; famous for being famous and bloody little else.

He almost certainly wasn't the first US President to authorise such assassinations. Just the first to do it in the global media age and have it brought to notice.

Absolutely true on the deportations... (see Pew Foundation numbers).. LibDems are gobsmacked when I bring this up as it doesn't fit the "official version". Latinos were looking for a "break" under Hillary from the brutal Obama regime.. Obama did not do much for African-Americans per se but he did do this as it removed the unrelenting pressure of 30 years of illegal immigration on jobs, wages and conditions in their "part" of the job market i.e. the bottom end.

So reading the last few posts in this thread I see that Obama "let Hispanics pour in" while simultaneously being "brutal" in deporting vast numbers of them.
Might I suggest that the situation was a little more nuanced than either of these position.

They are probably more gobsmacked to find a UKIP sympathiser in their ranks!
