That's a statue by Louise Bourgeois apparently. What a contrived connection.

That's a statue by Louise Bourgeois apparently. Was she a famous artist? I'm not surprised. Ignoring the obvious phillistine nature of the Trumpistas, yes, she was pretty damn famous if not to my taste. If the line of attack on Clinton is now a contrived line that the brother of her employee has a statue by a French sculptress that happens to look like a murder victim of Jeffrey Dahmer, then that's fairly pathetic. I'm sure Trump loves his Athena picture of a tennis player scratching her arse.

The argument against Clinton is that both her and Trump are utter skunks, but at least Trump goes about like Pepe le Pew, tail right in the air stinking everyone else out and not giving two hoots. Clinton on the other hand wanders round stinking the place out but holding her nose and saying "Gor! Have a whiff of Trump over there! Doesn't he smell awful!" I'd prefer the out-and-out skunk to the pious fraud. But who's with me?
Also, Trump and Clinton are both obviously now the candidates of God-awful youth movements; Trump of the alt-right and Clinton of the social justice warriors. The best I can say is at least the alt-right aren't plagued with an absurd passive-aggressive victimhood complex.
I'll say this now; in 6 months time Clinton will be in the White House, with Black Lives Matter (and their "white allies") rioting on one side, and a new Tea Party movement fomenting on the other, and she won't be able to distract from her own flaws with a round of "Look! Look over there at the bad man with the messy hair and what he said to Miss Universe in 1995!" because the said bad man will be away selling DVDs of his 101 best speeches (B-side: Best of the Apprentice) out of the back of a suitcase.

Latest Ben Garrison cartoon What an unfunny bastard. To think that ASV was binned for being annoying. Whoever posted that monstrosity should be 'sine die'ed!

If you're seriously suggesting that the originals on the left are anti-semitic or Nazi then yes, you are playing some sort of silly game. My first response to your comment had all the seriousness your remark merited. Um... the Bernanke/Wizard of Oz cartoon is blatantly antisemitic. Not even one of those 'oh that's unfortunate' cases that do crop up in the world of political cartoons at times either.

It would be easier, and certainly a lot more credible, to admit that you got fooled by fake cartoons, which in fairness are convincingly done, rather than resort to this weak nonsense. Just sayin'... It would also be untrue

For some reason pjones's cartoons (assuming that's what they are) don't download onto my system. I've always been a lucky b***ard!

That cartoon isn't really anti-semitic, but one has to question the judgement of someone who clearly is into bimetallism.

On the subject of antisemitism a lot of the stuff that is out there isn't overtly antisemitic but simply contains dog whistles. Most of the time when somebody complains about "international bankers" what they really mean is "the Jews" or to be a bit more generous they are using the term knowing that others will interpret it that way. To be fair to Trump he probably doesn't even realise that he using antisemitic dog whistles, he is likely just using words and phrases that Steve Bannon is telling him play well with his supporters.

Except that it wasn't actually an assassin, but never mind..... No it wasn't, it was a paid DNC operative, a birddogger Cunningly disguised as a lifelong conservative Republican who happens to have done of a bit of campaigning for Clinton as he can't stand Trump.

"I have stayed in touch with" = "close friends". Really? Ah, I wouldn't have seen this if you hadn't quoted it, gwyn, but I have a couple of thoughts. There's no date given on the email, which is interesting editing in itself. The email refers to '50 years since Camp Nose'. I'd assume this refers to summer camp, when Podesta and his friends would have been 18 or less. Given that Podesta is now 73, the email must be at least five years old - so about 4 years before Hastert's child abuse was revealed.

I've now just seen Trump's new advert on telly. The local dogs are howling- it's so incredibly unsubtle. Trump does Drumont.

Cunningly disguised as a lifelong conservative Republican who happens to have done of a bit of campaigning for Clinton as he can't stand Trump. Any evidence of him being a lifelong conservative? Because there's plenty of evidence that indicates that he's a paid bird dogger. Given the recent revelations confirming that the Clinton campaign directs paid 'bird doggers' to distrupt Trump/Pence event then whenever you see such a disruption reported you have to assume there's a high likelihood that its yet another 'bird dogger'. Is there any evidence that further indicates that this is what he is? Yes there is quite a lot. I've already posted some of this evidence in the other thread. I could post more but that would the leave the question of how much evidence it would take to convince you that he's a 'bird dogger'. The truth is that nothing would be good enough for you in terms of evidence. The only thing you would accept is if the story was presented that way in what you consider to be a 'respectable' news outlet. If the New York Times or the Guardian or the BBC ran a story saying that he was a paid provocateur oaid by the Clinton Campaign you would believe it. It wouldn't matter what evidence they presented, or how little evidence they presented, if they said that this claim had been confirmed by the evidence then you would just believe it. You would take whatever the New York Times or Guardian or BBC said and just swallow it like mothers milk. Alternatively if the same story is presented but not by any 'respectable' (in your view) news outlets then you simply won't accept it as being true or even likely. If doesn't matter how much evidence is assembled for you to look at. If the NYT/Guardian/BBC haven't told you to accept it as true then you simply won't accept it. Plenty of people like yourself who are reasonably intelligent but unwilling to think for themselves. I'm basing the fact that he's a Republican on the grounds he's been a registered Republican since 2011. Both the Express and the Sun agree he's a Republican. www.express.co.uk/news/world/729226/Donald-Trump-security-alert-nevada-reno-rally-assasination-attempt-lone-wolf-attack www.thesun.co.uk/news/2126660/protester-who-sparked-donald-trump-assassination-fear-says-he-was-battered-for-no-reason/
