I have sensibly been away from this thread for a week or so. I have skimmed through a few pages and feel glad to have been away. The dead hand of Trump garbage has infested the whole tenor of the thread and I am amazed so many people are prepared to engage in responding to jones and his woeful posts. Please may I urge you all to leave him alone to talk to himself on this site. Please stop posting and encouraging him.

This shocking revelation that Sykes has failed to disclose is not news to the huge number of people who have heard Sykes publicly discuss it. Perhaps if you read the whole article you would get the whole context. I've provided a link. Did you hear his interview with Trump. Sykes came across as a pompous prig and frankly its amusing that after all his sanctimonious pontificating to learn that hew is a serial adulterer. I did read the article and it is nonsense. Charlie Sykes' messy personal life was already very well known, he doesn't need to disclose it on a daily basis just for the benefit of people like you and since he doesn't tend to lecture people on their private lives he can hardly be accused of hypocrisy. You seem to be confusing Sykes belief in civility and decorum with hard line social conservative stances that he doesn't take and which are not particular prominent in Wisconsin GOP circles anyway. Sykes is easily one of the most influential conservative voices in the Milwaukee area and his backing of Cruz rivaled that of Scott Walker's in importance. For Trump's minions to go after Sykes like this merely demonstrates their lack of political nous, just like Trump going after Scott Walker demonstrated his own ignorance of the state he was campaigning in. When all was said and done in the heavily Republican Milwaukee suburbs Trump polled less that 25% of the vote. Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha counties contributed 107K to Cruz's statewide victory margin of 145K. I doubt you find that very amusing but I am sure that Sykes does. |

Just more pathetic whining from a candidate either too stupid, too lazy or too miserly to build an effective ground operation. Everyone with even a basic knowledge of the nomination process will know that it involves a mix of primaries, caucuses and conventions. Trump is perfectly happy with the system when and where it suits him but moans and complains when it doesn't. He then whips up his idiotic supporters with ridiculous claims of "stolen delegates" and "rigged systems".
