I already had Bradford Central & Bingley...
The existing Sheffield Hallam has 70,415 electors. To get it within range without splitting a Sheffield ward, add Hathersage & Eyam and Bradwell wards of Derbyshire Dales and Hope Valley ward of High Peak, to form Sheffield Hallam & the Hope Valley (78,059).

I'd actually be happy with that - I'm quite friendly with the Davyhulme Councillors

Similar to the one from Khunanup - I present "The Ends of Hampshire (West, Hedge, Worlds and North)"

Does that count? I mean, obviously it's a terrible idea, but the professionally outraged in the west of the seat would probably prefer that to a lot of the less silly alternatives, because at least it wouldn't be adding students.

And the other side to putting Kensington in a safe Labour seat - Brixton in what I reckon must be a safe Tory seat looking at local election results - albeit that I don't have the 2015 notionals. "Brixton and Nappy Valley" or "John Major's homecomeing" ;-)

No joy in creating a seat including parts of Kidderminster, Garstang and Warrington. Wyre Forest, Wyre and Wire.

No joy in creating a seat including parts of Kidderminster, Garstang and Warrington. Wyre Forest, Wyre and Wire. How about an all the Richmonds seat: Electorate 75,993. City of Leeds ward: Burmantofts and Richmond Hill (13,605) District of Richmondshire wards: Gilling West, Hipswell, Middleton Tyas, Richmond Central, Richmond East, Richmond West, Swaledale (11,174) Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames wards: East Sheen; Ham, Petersham and Richmond Riverside; Kew; North Richmond; South Richmond (34,562) City of Sheffield ward: Richmond (13,039) District of Uttlesford ward: Thaxted and the Eastons (3,613) which includes the village of Richmond's Green

Hyde, Hope and Hallam? (aka Snake Pass)
From Sheffield: Stannington and Fulwood (27,367) From Derbyshire Dales: Hathersage and Eyam (2,994) From High Peak: Hope Valley, St Johns, Gamesley (6,345) From Tameside: Longdendale, Hyde Godley, Hyde Newton, Hyde Werneth (34,693)
Total Electorate: 71,399
NB: Deliberately didn't include Tintwhistle, so Glossop still has somewhere to go (at least theoretically - Glossop, Woodhead, Penistone and Barnsley West...)

For those who might want to see the end of Tim Farron (can't think why myself, but...). Also includes an alternative solution to the Morecambe / Lancaster split: 1. Kendal North-East, Penrith and the Border 2. Kendal North-West, Windermere and Workington 3. Kendal South-West and Lancaster 4. Kendal South-East, Bowland and the Ribble Valley 5. Whitehaven and Walney 6. Morecambe Bay (aka Barrow, Ulverston, Grange-over-sands, and Morecambe) 7. Carlise, Keswick, and the Solway Coast

Of course there is already a Chelsea and Fulham BC - though they play in different leagues.

I have an idea. Equalise the electorates of all the constituencies to the maximum possible extent, i.e. achieve the minimum possible difference between the minimum and maximum electorates. Not by splitting wards, but by finding combinations of wards which are not necessarily adjacent to each other. thousands of little exclaves scattered all over the country.

The old Stirling Falkirk and Grangemouth constituency deserves a mention.

Not a constituency as such but I tried some time ago to use the Boundary Assistant to do the north east seats. I'd thought I'd done a good job but then realised Newcastle now had five MPs.

Considerably less impressive than some of the other attempts in this vein, but on the plus side it does permit a truly dreadful half-pun, I give you 'Semicircles of Hull': Heresy 78,078 - Bransholme E, Bransholme W, Longhill, Beverley Rural, Howdenshire, Mid Holderness, South West Holderness, St Mary's Violence 78,178 - Ings, Kings Park, Marfleet, Southcoates E, Southcoates W, Sutton, Cottingham North, Dale, Minster and Woodmansey Fraud 77,872 - Beverley, Drypool, Holderness, Orchard Park and Greenwood, Cottingham South, Hessle, South Hunsley, Tranby, Willerby and Kirk Ella Treachery 73,801 - Avenue, Boothferry, Bricknell, Derringham, Myton, Newington, Newland, Pickering, St Andrew's, University

And since someone mentioned it, here's what a modern Stirling, Falkirk & Grangemouth constituency would look like. As we are still awaiting electorate data for Scotland, this is the zombie review data. It comprises Stirling East, Stirling West, Castle, Falkirk North, Falkirk South, Grangemouth and Lower Braes wards.
