Not got a full confirmation on this yet, but it looks as though councillor Eric Burgoyne (Little Hulton, Salford) has resigned.
If this is the case, Little Hulton will be a double vaancy in May.

Nicky Jerrome, who represents Bulmershe and Whitegates ward on Wokingham Borough Council, has resigned for health reasons. She was the only Labour member of the council. This will be a potential double vacancy.

I'd guess it's Craig Martin (Labour) resigning. Jeff Cant is a member of the executive (Briefholder for Finance and Assets), and also local organiser for Vote Leave, so he's still active. Kate Wheller has no reason to resign now when her term ends in May anyway. Whereas Craig Martin's twitter feed suddenly stopped in December. |
