CAMBRIDGESHIRE Sutton Lorna Dupre (Liberal Democrats) 1,063 Mike Bradley (The Conservative Party Candidate) 651 Pete Bigsby (UK Independence Party (UKIP)) 208 Owen Winters (Independent) 102 LD 52.5% (+19.7) Con 32.2% (-17.2) UKIP 10.3% (+10.3) Ind 5.0% (+5.0) I wonder if the Lib Dem candidate is any relation to the Victorian Liberal MP Henry Dupre Labouchere, or indeed to June Garner (nee Dupre) who contested Burton for the Alliance (1992? 97?)

SNP candidate was elected at Stage 4, meaning that they didn't get enough Green transfers to break 50% (hardly surprising given the proportion of transfers that would have been required). I'd guess (details of transfers not published yet) that Green transfers would probably have pushed the indy ahead of the Conservatives and that Conservative transfers then pushed the SNP over quota, but we'll see when the details come out. Largest number of Green transfers went to Independent, pushing Independent ahead of Conservative. Half of Conservative votes then went to Independent, a few to the SNP and many not transferred. Still not enough to push SNP over quota so was only with elimination of Independent that SNP met quota.
