Dewi: PC 189 votes (59.4%; +2.1) Lab 110 votes (34.6%; -0.2) LD 19 votes (6.0%; +6.0) Forgive me if I'm being thick and missing something, it's a common occurrence, but how can the LDs be on 6%, +6% when they stood and got votes last time?

Ashfrod Greens are saying it's rather a one vote victory of Conservatives over UKIP in Aylesford Green.

Because I made the error of trusting Britain Elects numbers. Real numbers: PC +2.1 Lab -0.2 LD -1.9

A good hold and a good gain for us. As I said before on the main thread, if Llais Gwynedd lose Llanaelhaearn (which they now have) and Pwllheli South next week, the future looks tough for them.

Not in recent memory...results like these remind me of the time we had very close six-way results up near Skipton last year....

Using the convention that 'swing' is measured between the top 2 parties, this is a "Con gain on a 22.3% swing from Con to UKIP".
