I was in Chandlers Ford today. No stakeboards or posters up, but I did see a Lib Dem leaflet jammed in my friend's letterbox.

I was in Chandlers Ford today. No stakeboards or posters up, but I did see a Lib Dem leaflet jammed in my friend's letterbox. I was out with a Pompey Lib Dem team there last Saturday, saw some Tories out as well along with a couple of UKIP deliverers.

Doesn't mean I know any more about the local politics because of it, though.

I cannot see the Conservatives losing in Chandlers Ford. Judith Grajewski is very well-known round there.

You might well be right, but looks like the best prospect of an LD gain this week. We shall see.

This week's previews, including plugs for the Tottington Public Band (who I was rehearsing with last night), and the Quiz League of London, together with more than the usual complement of really awful puns: blog.englishelections.org.uk/2015/10/by-election-previews-22-october-2015.htmlBroken Hearts and Nomads still lead the Quiz League of London following Tuesday's results, both teams being unbeaten after four matches.

Tottington should be a straightforward Con gain.
Chandler's Ford appears to have attracted a lot of LD activity - there will be disappointment if we don't do well.
