Seemingly neither the former HDZ- nor the present SDP-goverment have been able to redraw the 10+2 ElectoralUnits of Tudjman.

The polls see HDZ+allies and SDP+allies equally strong, favouring the left, which might find some support from the GREENS or ZZ (Croatia's Podemos). The HDZ-leader (a shy spy) managed to be even more unpopular than the PrimeMinister. But let us be warned: In the recent 4 elections (Europe 2013+14, President 2014+15 [runoff]) HDZ was underpolled each time by 10%!

I can't see HDZ losing this one to be honest.

Croatia is one of just thirteen European countries that is currently governed by the left. This week's New Statesman has a handy map showing political control across the continent. What I found most striking was that, aside from France and Sweden, all of Northern and Western Europe were controlled by the right. The centre left administrations in Europe are mostly concentrated in Central and Southern Europe and include Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Greece, Albania and Montenegro which all make up a sizeable chunk of the continent. It'll be interesting to see if Croatia remains part of this bloc after next month's election.

Yes, Malta is another one that was on the map. No idea about the other two as they were not listed.

It is but the SPO are the senior party in this case so presumably that's why it's counted as "left" by the NS.

All polls see a NeckToNeck-Race tomorrow - for the fifth time and all four OutComes so far ended with HDZ+allies 10% stronger than polled (s.a.)!

Who&what is "MOST" (="BRIDGE")? It was found few years ago by a young Independent, who replaced 2013 the HSS-mayor in Metkovic, a small town near Dubrovnik. He was opposed by HDZ+ and SDP+ as well. Managing Metkovic efficiently, he has campaigned on EconomicLiberalism, AdministrationCuts a.s.o.. His deputy - who was expelled from HDZ earlier this year - described them as "the Mid" between the 2 big camps and pointed out, that they wouldn't enter a CoalitionGovernment.

The surges of ORAH (=GREENS, exSDP) and ZZ seem to be over, MOST won't durate longly as well, I assume.

That's a very good result for MOST if it is correct.

So a HDZ-government supported by MOST is rather inevitable.
