Doesn't look like it. Tombv has been having various problems recently with things like his internet going off for a week, work and being an hour ahead of .uk.

Good result for the Tories in Tavistock North - they have enjoyed the split opposition. Labour will be pleased with a good third.

I'm not sure how long this thing has been runnning - perhaps not much more than six months or at least that is about as long as I have been regular on there. Its funny how quickly you become dependant upon things which you managed perfectly well without for years

I make dibs gets 93 normal faults plus 10 wrong winner in Durham which takes him over 100 and therefore is more than if he hadn't entered. I don;t know if in this kind of situation the faults are capped

^ On the NF result, i was out by 10 votes.
NF have being going since 1967, but have never had a single councillor elected and just continue to poll around 1%. I don't know why they bother.

Doesn't look like the remaining two results are coming anytime soon, even though we've had rumours from Huntingdonshire which suggest they have counted and one assumes they would have counted Hemel Town if they counted Woodhall Farm. I was more interested in that result than any of the others tonight so bit disappointed not to have it

Just got this from Twitter: "Hemel Hempstead Town, Herts CC - LD Chris Angell 456, Lab 693, Grn 180, UKIP 151, Ind 61, Con 1413. Con hold. Turnout 23.82%" A very easy Conservative hold if this is correct.

It doesn't look like the circumstances causing the by-elections caused too many problems for the Tories in Hemel. Labour still appear to be prostrate in the town
