It's our (Yorkshire First's) first by-election, so a bit of a learning curve. But we've had an energetic campaign and made the most of the data we have, so hopefully we'll have some progress to smile about later tonight...

I believe that makes you our second Yorkshire First member. The other one is Arnie Craven who stood in Morley & Outwood in the general election - we haven't seen him on here for a long time (he used to support UKIP and later the Conservatives). |

7 entries this week with Greenhert making a maiden visit. Mark Senior gets 10 additional faults for being nearly 2 hours late but still 31 faults ahead of Tony Otim who cannot overhaul him.
Barnsley: 100% Labour hold with share ranging from 52% (Mark Senior) to 69% (Maxque)
- The Yorkshire First share ranges from 1.8% (Pete Westwood) to 20% (Mark Senior) - its candidate is a one time Labour Councillor.

I think the current trend in safe Labour seats in Yorks and the North East is for the protest vote previously gone to say BIG or Indies or more lately UKIP to find a new home with the North East Party or Yorkshire First . We will see if I am right when we get todays result . |
