There are 5 by-election in June along with 5 deferred elections for 13 seats.
* June 4th - 1 by-election - Cambridgeshire, Wisbech South - and 1 deferred election - Kettering, Rothwell for 3 seats
* June 9th (Tuesday) - 1 deferred election - Wyre Forest, Areley Kings & Riverside for 3 seats
* June 11th - 2 by-elections - Sutton, Wallington South and Tower Hamlets, Stepney Green
* June 18th - 2 deferred elections - Christchurch, North Highcliffe & Walkford and Mole Valley, Holmwoods both for 2 seats
* June 25th - 1 by-election - Cambridgeshire, Romsey - and 1 deferred election - South Kesteven, Market & West Deeping for 3 seats
* June 30th (Tuesday) - 1 by-election - Cardiff, Pentrych
2 of the by-elections are for a County Council seat, 2 in London Boroughs and 1 a Welsh Counci-
- all 5 deferred elections are in District Councils
Conservatives are defending 1 seat in a by-election following the previous councillor becoming a MP
Liberal Democrats are defending 2 seats, 1 following the death of the former Couincillor and 1 a resignation
UKIP is defending 1 seat following a resignation
Tower Hamlets 1st is not defending a seat following the disqualification of its Councillor.
