A sort of TV coverage of elections, but there was a brief shot of the Elections Centre's PDF of local elections in Ynys Môn in ITV's documentary "Mr Bates vs The Post Office: The Impact" - Noel Thomas, who was a victim of the scandal, had been a Plaid Cymru councillor and his family were looking at the page to prove how long he would have served had he not been prosecuted. 6:35 in the programme if you watch it on ITVX.

Once the by-election in Tirymynach is over, I am going to go through the archive elections I have that are complete (1964 - 2024) and answer a question that was posed online after the election "Are the BBC more interested now in comment, than results?" by seeing how many televised declarations are made during the overnight hours and then dividing that by the number of results by the end of the overnight coverage, and then assuming that a declaration takes around 90 seconds to announce on average, calculate the amount of time showing a result as a percentage of the whole programme

I feel we don't discuss enough the fact that the BBC's constituency results input/display system completely broke down for about an hour during general election night 2015, and a fair number of results never appeared on screen at all.

Only part 1 is available at the moment. Hope it isn't blocked because it was when I tried to upload it previously a couple of years ago.

I'm hoping as 2005 on there and 1997 they may be more lenient plus it helps people who work on these channels actual research old election so it helps them! I'm hoping to see Sky 2001 one day!
