Ponteland North should be fixed now, give it another try.

Quick question on BA - whilst I can see the BCE proposals (many thanks kevinlarkin ) and their outlines, is there a way of loading them as the 'base' map? In some areas it clearly makes sense to take the BCE proposals and then look at (minor-ish) adjustments which is easier if you don't have to select and name each proposed constituency in turn? There isn't a simple way to do this in the current version, but it may be included in the next release.

Not a big issue, but why is Wight not included?

kevinlarkin Are we able to use Boundary Assistant when responding to the commission? You and your website would obviously be credited where possible if so.

Looking into the best wasy of presenting my own proposals - I wonder if Kevin or A.N.Other knows which of these ideas would work: (a) draw my entire plan in QGis, and then export that as a layer into Google Maps, or (b) import ward boundaries into Google Maps, and draw my plan as a layer on top.

Some time ago I brought a computer programme called Shape2Earth which allows you to convert SHP files into KML/KMZ files (and I am using those in my submissions) along with KML files of the existing constituencies

Of course I don't have to use Google Maps - what I've got set up already looks quite impressive (e.g. ukelect.wordpress.com/2016/06/30/2018-review-northamptonshire/ ), and I can add ward boundaries and a static background map if I want - but the thought of presenting my plans in a so-called interactive way (the BCE's website doesn't really meet my definition of interactive) is enticing.

Discovered slight snag in importing kml file of wards into Google Maps - file size is 360 MB but Google only allows files up to 5 MB.
Edit: So, tried saving as csv file, which is tiny. Google Maps still won't upload it because it has a limit of 2000 lines. I'm currently working on splitting the file...

Can I report a slight problem with Wales at the moment. Namely I can select one whole constituency but when I try and select a second whole constituency it times out

I just get a blank screen with a message in the corner saying, 'The service is unavailable.'
I've tried it on two different computers using three different browsers (safari, IE, chrome).

It has only EVER worked on Safari on my iPad, always get an error message on PC in Firefox, Chrome and IE. The page loads, but it doesn't load the list of regions and gives an error message.

HTTP 503 - Service Temporarily Unavailable
Looks like a server issue to me.

Or far more likely, kevinlarkin has taken it down to add the Scottish initial proposals and will bring it back when he has finished

Or far more likely, kevinlarkin has taken it down to add the Scottish initial proposals and will bring it back when he has finished Given that the whole site has gone down, not just the boundary-drawing bits, I can't share that confidence. The site is giving a 503 Service Unavailable error code, which can indicate that the host server is overloaded, down for maintenance or has developed some other problem.

It is back up now. A log file had exceeded the disk quota. I blame state actors.
