The Tory fought this ward in 2012 and appears (happy to be corrected) to be the only candidate who lives in the ward.

Petulant and shrill maybe, but 'Whinge of the Year'?!!!.......That suggests to me a possible nomination for 'Over-reaction of the year'!

Ha ha! The time it took me to get 10 signatures on my nomination forms varied between 47 minutes and 5 hours 10 minutes, with an average of about 2 1/2 hours.

Honestly, if you can't collect 10 signatures in 7 days, you are clearly not having the abilities to be a councillor.

www.ukipgm.org/frame/2211.shtmlBroadheath by-election: Further discrimination against UKIP UKIP Trafford has just learned through chance conversation with a local resident who has received her postal vote pack from Trafford Council that the ballot papers for this week's Broadheath by-election have been printed in a biased manner, discriminating further against UKIP. We have not yet had official notification directly from Trafford Electoral Services via email or by phone about the ballot paper design despite the official election notice being posted on www.trafford.gov.uk as long ago as 10/12/13. Moreover we discussed the probable timetable for the by-election with Electoral Services in a phone conversation in November and we submitted our election papers last month - so there can be no excuse that they thought UKIP were not interested in contesting this election on a fair and equal basis. Looking into this in more detail the situation is more alarming. It appears that this is more than just a mere administrative oversight. I see that the two established political parties have both been given an unfair advantage over UKIP by Trafford Council when printing the ballot papers. The Labour candidate has been given the top position on every ballot paper, and the name of the Conservative candidate has also been deliberately printed in a more prominent manner than the UKIP's candidate's name on the ballot paper, with UKIP being given only 5.2 cm while the Conservative's surname has been given 7.4 cm. Why should the Labour Party have exclusive access to the most prominent top of the ballot paper position? Why should the Conservative Party's candidate be given an extra 42.30769% length for her name on every ballot paper? Why should the two most established parties be treated so much better than the others? Is this yet another case of political correctness gone mad, giving the two female candidates an unfair advantage, or is there a more sinister explanation? I call on the Chief Executive, Theresa Grant, to get a grip and treat all political parties and both genders with impartiality as is her legal obligation. This situation is totally unacceptable. If the taxpayer really does have to pay her an eye-watering £155,000 p.a. then the least we expect is that she does her job. As it stands UKIP is now at a triple disadvantage. We had 7 days less than our opponents to raise the 10 signatures required on our election papers. We have an inferior position on every ballot paper. And our candidate's name appears shorter on the officially printed ballot paper than the Conservative's name. So be it.

So, UKIP are complaining that the Labour candidate comes first alphabetically, and that the Conservative candidate has a longer name?

Broadheath by-election: Electoral Commission conspire with Europhiles against UKIP and against the decent hard-working British people
UKIP Trafford has been shocked by the Europhiles' latest blatant electoral bias against UKIP and the British people.
I made a telephopne complaint to the Electoral Commission in London about the unfair treatment that UKIP has suffered in this week's by-election from Trafford Council. After less than an hour I was interrupted by the woman [yes, another one!] at the other end of the phone who complacently "informed" me that it is "usual practice" to list candidates alphabetically on the ballot papers. When I pointed out that "George" comes before "Helen" alphabetically (at least it did when I went to school, unless it's just another change that the unelected Brussels Eurocrats have stuffed down our throats, just like their straight bananas) she just laughed at me and hung up, before I'd even had a chance to register my complaint about the unequal name lengths on the ballot papers. Well, I've got that telephone conversation on tape, so we'll see how the Courts view such electoral bias.
Looking into this in more detail the situation is more alarming. It appears that this is more than just a mere administrative oversight. It's now clear that there's a Brussel-based conspiracy against UKIP and the British people, unfairly propping up the complacent old political parties in the UK which all have vested financial interests in keeping us shackled to the European monstrosity that is the EU. It's political correctness gone mad. I call on the so-called Prime Minister of the UK, David Cameron, and the so-called leader of the Opposition, David Ed Milliband, to get a grip and treat all political parties with impartiality as is their legal obligation. This situation is totally unacceptable. If the taxpayer really does have to pay their eye-watering salaries then the least we expect is that they do their jobs.
You, the electors of Broadheath, have the power this week to send a message to the European Commissioners, their lackeys in Trafford Council and their co-conspirators in the Electoral Commission. Even if they've conspired to put UKIP's Ron George in second place on the ballot paper, you can put him First by voting for him on Thursday. That'll send a clear message that the British people won't be bossed around by Europe, and as long as UKIP is around to stand up for the rights of the British people we won't submit to any revised Eurostandard alphabet either!! So be it.

Unless they have recently been deleted, these posts don't appear on the UKIP site so I think they are just a joke by casual observer.

Poe's law - without a clear indication of the author's intent, it is difficult or impossible to tell the difference between an expression of sincere extremism and a parody of extremism.

I'm not sure which was funnier - the parody of UKIP's whinge or the belief that the outrageous parody may be genuine!
