I think the result from Wakefield dashes my chances of getting into the top 2 now. I found myself in the uncomfortable position of wishing UKIP would do badly

Think we'll all have to wait for the X Factor - Caithness, tomorrow.

I think Central Bedfordshire buggers things up a bit - who knew the Independent would do so well or the Lib Dems so badly?

Think after Caddington there are still three possible winners for the month.

Think we'll all have to wait for the X Factor - Caithness, tomorrow. Indeed so. I hadn't appreciated the potential for Caddington to change the game so much

As indeed she may wellm, pete .. I thought her 'most local of the Independents' claim looked a bit desperate, but there's really so little to go on from so long away. Anyhoo, I'm expecting to finish with the bronze medal for the month. I always seem to deteriorate in later declarations, a bit like 'my' football team who have thrown away 11 points already this season with goals against in the last few minutes.

I think Central Bedfordshire buggers things up a bit - who knew the Independent would do so well or the Lib Dems so badly? I did not discover Christine Smith's connection to the local Plebgate until after the result . If I had known beforehand I would have upped my forecast for her substantially .

I took account of it but clearly not by enough. Enough to put me back in the game overall though

Whilst I am peeved at my computer's refusal to post on occasion, getting a special mention is almost as good as coming third.

Congratulations to catholicleft for the week and Phil for the month.
Various factors are combining to limit the time I have for both posting and researching my predictions, which doesn't totally excuse my abysmal performance this week and last.

Thank you for the congratulations. After trying to win for what seemed like an eternity, I have now managed it twice in a row. Like the bus cliche.
