They could have put it on BBC Parliament as well instead of showing endless repeats.

Are the nats everyone's least favourite major(ish) party? No. Certainly not. I have voted Nat myself. Since the Scottish Tories imploded the Nats have been the sole serious opposition to Scots Labour.

Forced to choose (Australian style), I supported the SNP over Labour for the 2011 election but tonight I've reversed that preference.

In 2007 I might have given the SNP a higher pref than Labour. The outgoing Lab/Lib government was tired. Not in 2011 and very not now.

Just watching the footage now on Newsnight of the Govan by-election and I'm reminded that I was drunkenly celebrating that result at the time

Gosh - Brian Taylor hasn't aged very well, has he! He looks about 40 years younger at the 1988 Govan by-election.

What are they doing showing the BBC2 ident which was last used in 1986, not 1988? Terrible mistake.
