At Middlesbrough, the turnout is 15% (15,156 votes). Reported to be looking "neck and neck".

You'll be pleased to know there was a spoilt ballot bemoaning the lack of a Labour candidate I was hoping for 5%, so happy with 5.8. Ukip did a fair bit of work and are disappointed; Tories were relieved rather than jubilant sent while on the move somewhere

Bit of a funny ward this, but Conservatives polled 14.7% in 2003, 16.5% in 2007, didn't stand in 2011, 34.0% in the 2012 by-election and 23.0% yesterday.
