a very good result for the Tories in Aldridge and whilst not great for us at all the turnout I referred to was a labour minded station so half expected it. What it does show I think is the UKIP surge is over, really this should have been a seat they could have won if the surge was there but the one leaflet was a generic national type one that failed to barely mention the ward.
It does show in local and national elections in some areas they have a lot to learn still.
