reports from Aldridge is that turnout is about 90 at one station as at approx 15:00 so predicted turnout is low ...
guess that would favour the Tories as a protest vote from either Labour or UKIP would produce a larger vote ?

How many electors are alloted to that station? If it was say 200 people, then that would be quite a good turnout!

last election the count was over 500 !

nah just an hour before the close at the station, indications sub 20% turnout and no idea from any side who that benefits given the weak recent Tory by-election performances.

Whilst we wait , Didcot Town Council Northbourne ward Lib Dem gain from Conservative ( the other 4 ward councillors are Labour ) No figures as yet .

Shebbear and Langtree, TORRIDGE DC No Desc (Lib Dem) 10 lol I had a quick chat with the Bob Wootton prior to the commencement of the count. It was a paperwork mix up that led to his lack of description on the ballot paper and as a consequence he decided not to campaign. Apologies for the lack of percentages in my result post - I was being dragged in the direction of the nearest pub at time of posting! Tough fight, especially with wind farms playing such a dominant role in the Shebbear part of the ward, but at the end of the day a win is a win!
