Why do you post a blank table in the thread, only to post a brand new table when the results come in?

Searching Twitter for "Skelton" is not great today as a Blue Peter presenter with that surname has left.......

Isn't Redcar one of those councils usually counting the next day? IIRC we had lots of by-elections there pre 2010 and their result were coming in on Friday

Whitehill TC Lib Dems have held at least 3 of the 4 seats they were defending . The tweet is a bit unclear , they may have held all 4 .

No complete figures from Waveney yet?
EDIT: 23 for Greens and 21 for LibDems, apparently. Not really troubling the scorers!

One might think that the rather interesting things that apparently went on on his watch on the town council (and the reason why they didn't want him in charge anymore) had more impact on how they voted rather than any great individual loyalty to him. Which makes his defection all the more ridiculous.

I am not sure why you were waiting up anyway, Dok B, clearly not in hope of a good LD result in Redcar? I am well aware that none of the places contested last night were in prime LD territory, but 1%, 2%, 3%. I ask you - this is B. A. D. Couldn't even struggle out of bottom place anywhere.

I was staying up as an electoral geek, not as a partisan. Is everything in your life measured by the discomfort of others?

Skelton turnout 28.3% (which is relatively high for this time of year and this area).
