29% turnout would be about 3500 votes in total; given what I saw today, I'd think a Green hold would be likely. I'll be very interested to see if TUSC could have cost Labour the win.

TUSC probably get a lot of protest votes or people too left-wing for today's Labour party(when I say a lot I mean a high proportion of their votes, not that they ever actually get many votes). Might be different in Brighton though, and TUSC should(I think) manage a few % there.

No, I agree that tusc voters could be green, or ex-green; my point is that without tusc they would have gone green to labour, but they could go green to tusc here as a protest and still not cost the greens the seat
