I wonder if any of the Opposition parties actually campaigned.

Lack of confidence notwithstanding that appears to be a swing to Labour.

Greenwich. Shooters Hill
Lab 57.9% (-1.6) Con 13.2% (-0.9) Green 10.3 % (-4.7) RefUK 9.9% (+7.1) LD 8.8% (+0.1)
So a swing to Lab from Green, but not a swing to Lab from Con

Aren't there a couple of upmarket roads around Aldersbrook which were transferred from Newham to Redbridge not many years ago? Yes. Curiously 3 Newham councillors lived in this tiny area. It was the early 1990s so really quite a long time ago. the early 90s was when I lived in Newham, maybe it was just after I left which was 1992

Labour's held The Nedge by 16 votes, according to Telford Live. Don't have any numbers other than Lab got 636 so the Tories would've got 620.

Had a feeling that The Nedge might be close but didn’t quite have the courage to predict it.

Having the former Indy runner-up standing for Labour must have been electorally useful
