am i the only one who already thought 'sanders' and 'norflondon' were the same person? Not for me, ‘norflondon’ has a perfectly coherent political position and doesn’t appear to flip between supporting hard left and hard right candidates. And seeking the Green Party nomination. And then standing against them.

No; lots of people are. I'm not one of them, and I don't think they are the same person. Can the forum put this old canard to bed for fuck’s sake?

Good luck in your campaign sanders. And if you aren’t successful this time, you will be in the future. Thank you. We’re fighting to win. Not if it takes you a month to deliver just 2,500 leaflets you’re not.

Thank you. We’re fighting to win. Not if it takes you a month to deliver just 2,500 leaflets you’re not. It’s going to be almost certainly a low turnout election with a fractured field where a low vote share will be needed to win. You only got elected for Reform because of AMS, iirc.

Well that was entertaining reading. A shame it had to stop when it did. Maxim is a very interesting character. Not as 'down to earth' as those handwritten notes suggest. Top marks for trying. Bahamas tutoring three students (14, 11, 8) 6 days weekly. SEPT TO DEC. £1.5k-1.8k a week. STEM experience essential. Expenses covered. Comment for info. Try that line on the door to the residents in the Council Estates who can't afford to feed their kids. Also top marks for leafletting! You might want to add that you went for Chancellor of Oxford? Not really interested in helping local people, just want another badge for that ego. People need someone who will do casework, chamber work and oh dear listening to them. How will you do that mate? Thanks for the laughs, it has been fun to read and good luck eh! £275 a day. That's hardly a kings ransom. Especially if a good numbers of hours a day.

The team who help me make leaflets and canvass the ward. I thought you did them all by hand? Is this team some sort of elves and the shoemaker scenario who write them while you’re sleeping? sanders, weld, rockefeller and conservativeestimate are all helping.

Do you really think people read one leaflet 6 weeks before polling day and then decide to vote for that candidate with nothing else having any impact whatsoever?

I don't normally make predictions, but I'd expect there to be three candidates here in with a chance - Labour, Green and the Corbyn-endorsed independent.
The Lib Dem result could be a distant fourth or it may crash (depending on the campaign).
I believe there is also a fifth candidate who I would expect to finish 5th (unless the Lib Dems crater).
We'll know in ten days.

No I don't, which is why we're doing street canvassing and a second leaflet for as many people as possible. Feel free to join the campaign! Predictions noted!

£275 a day. That's hardly a kings ransom. Especially if a good numbers of hours a day. My salary + expected bonus works out somewhat higher than that on a daily basis. If I went back into consultancy at this point, I'd be looking at 500-600 GBP minimum per day. I am not especially talented nor do I have an esoteric IT skill set, but I do have a lot of experience and a decent track record.
