I'm going out of the country for a few weeks, so am putting this up a bit early - will allow discussion to start where appropriate and can be more easily updated.

I am running independently (Islington, Hillrise). From my experience at school sports days (three-legged races) it's always best to run independently.

His LinkedIn page is interesting. Full of detailed information about extensive experience in several major fields. The words “1 month” may appear a number of times.

Presumably weld qualified on the basis of working in the borough then.. I find it hard to believe that he could find the time to work anywhere given the time he spent posting on here. He appears to have a property management company founded in July 2024 and a tutoring business. Also a freelance journalist with the BBC from Jun 2022 till June 2022!

Hornsey Lane is the boundary road between Haringey and Islington's Hillrise ward, so it isn't as bizarre as it initially appears. He lives literally on the other side of the road, and probably closer to the ward than some other candidates. However the qualification point stands.

Given that none of them give more details than "borough of Islington" he may very well be the only one living close by! Butt ugly building btw.

Whitehall Park, a very nice enclave in this ward, is where Jeremy Corbyn lived for a number of years I believe

I have found that some statements he has made which I suspected of being untrue have turned out actually to be correct. Namely his address & the fact that he has actually been a contestant on University Challenge. Some other stuff, perhaps less so

”In 2022 one of his students got A* in A-Level” Only one? When we met in the pub last year, I told him the story of S.O.Davies in Merthyr Tydfil in 1970, which he didn’t already know
