I've only been able to find a couple of East Wolds & Coastal candidates, Jonathan Bibb (Con) and Mike Dixon (Lab).

Newcastle Borough Council, Madeley & Betley, 2xLab 2xCon 2xInd. The Independent candidates have been nominated and seconded by the two Conservatives who resigned. Curious indeed. The two councillors have represented Madeley for some years, as Independents for most of that time (though I believe one may have been a Liberal Democrat in the past). They then joined the Conservative Group - and, one assumes, the party. As they are now leaving the area they have resigned and, indeed, proposed and seconded two Independent candidates, one of whom I believe has now withdrawn. The remaining candidate served as Mayoress to one of the departing councillors in his term as Mayor in 2023-24. All rather odd, but the Borough is next door to that fount of local electoral lunacy, Stoke on Trent City Council. Perhaps it's something in the water. Good luck with the prediction competition! (In passing I'll mention that one candidate featured on TV's "Wife Swap" some years ago, and came over very well. And another - I believe - appeared on "Four in a Bed".)

In the City of London, the Cripplegate Aldermanic election is uncontested: Elizabeth King is the only candidate. She was endorsed by the retiring Alderwoman Susan Pearson and will be declared elected at the wardmote on 3rd July; that will then trigger a consequential by-election, as King is a Common Councilwoman for the same ward.
There are four candidates for the Common Council by-election in Farringdon Within ward: Edward Goodchild, Jani Levanen, Gerard O'Sullivan and David Williams. O'Sullivan contested the ward in 2022 and finished in fifteenth and last place.

There's going to be an interesting situation with the Brent council byelection in Queen's Park ward. It's in the Queen's Park and Maida Vale constituency for which Westminster is the Returning Officer. While there will be separate ballot boxes, they will all be taken to the Westminster count, and verified there (to make sure there are no Parliamentary ballots mixed in with the byelection votes). Westminster will then verify them. When that's completed, the verified ballots will be escorted back to the Brent count, where Brent will separate and count them.
(This doesn't apply to postal votes which will be verified at the Brent count)

That's interesting because Labour might have won the Alderman election - they did well in Cripplegate in 2022 and would have a decent chance of winning a by-election. They might then surpass their record of six councillors in the City of London, which is what they got after a by-election win after the 2017 election:

CONSERVATIVE DEFENCES (14): [*snip*] Three Rivers, Rickmansworth Town Candidates: Con, Grn, Lab, LD2024: Con 1057; LD 1009; Lab 192; Grn 161 [*snip*] Well, it appears that the postal vote packs for this by-election have been "lost" by the Royal Mail. So says Three Rivers District Council. This news has only reached me today, with the problem being known since at least Tuesday. I understand that emergency measures are in place, phoning voters etc etc etc, but it won't help voters who have gone away and will return after 4 July. It begs the question why the GE postal voting packs for this ward were not specially tailored to cope with the additional local government by-election in the first place. Seeing only 48 votes were in it last time, one would imagine that a losing candidate might find ammunition for a challenge.

Has this affected postal votes for the general election or only the local by-election? (declaration of interest: my sister votes in this ward. I don't know if she has a postal vote but she seems to be away as often as not.)

However, having observed how TRDC elections are run (in what I consider to be an inefficient way) I am seriously considering reverting to voting in person.

I'm not sure what the details are of what is happening locally, but a postal vote pack for a general election should be completely different from a postal vote pack for a local council by-election. They should be totally separate.

City of Westminster, Abbey Road ward has four candidates: BURGESS, Alexander - Labour Party GALLEY, Hannah Rebecca - The Conservative Party Candidate SINHA, Rajiv Rahul - Green Party TOEMAN, Helen - Liberal Democrat Labour gain. Hopefully the winner poses for a nice photo on the famous crossing from the Beatles album. How hard is Labour working this ward for the GE?

Seeing only 48 votes were in it last time, one would imagine that a losing candidate might find ammunition for a challenge. LABOUR DEFENCES (34):Barnet, Barnet Vale Candidates: Con, Grn, Lab, LD2022: Lab 2192, 2054, 1834; Con 2080, 2016, 1972; LD 747, 693, 416; Grn 732 [*snip*] As a comparison (though this could well be luck rather than the superior competence of Barnet Council), I currently have two (hopefully properly completed) postal voting packs sitting in front of me (waiting to be posted when I go out in the next few minutes so that they don't end up missing the Saturday morning post). However, to comment on the question I have bolded above, the postal packs for the two elections arrived a day apart and, looking at them side by side, I suspect there may have been at least government "advice" to send them out, and try to steer recipients into returning them, separately - almost exactly equivalent documentation, but as well as one lot referring to "Member of Parliament" and "Chipping Barnet constituency" and the other to "councillor to London Borough of Barnet" and "Barnet Vale", there are apparently pointless minor differences to the positioning of some of the information boxes on the two sets of forms. And the completed general election form needs to be returned to "The Acting Returning Officer" at postcode NW9 1ZU but the by-election form to "The Returning Officer, Barnet Vale By Election" at postcode NW9 1ZW. Presumably to ensure that voters haven't muddled up which set of paperwork is which, the outer return envelopes bave small windows, through which (possibly provided the inner envelopes have been inserted into the outer envelopes the right way round) I can see the letters "CHI" (presumably for Chipping Barnet) on the general election one and "BVB" (presumably for Barnet Vale by-election) on the by-election one. This makes some sort of sense, seeing that, firstly, there are at least potentially some by-election voters (e.g. peers, EU citizens with settled status) not allowed to vote in the general election and, secondly, that if postal voters don't mix up the two sets of instructions, there should be few if any problems with ballot papers ending up in envelopes for the wrong election and/or attached to the wrong set of verification details. Though I suspect that someone has probably been a tad optimistic about expecting everyone to follow instructions properly.

Lewisham,Blackheath Candidates: Con, Grn, Lab, LD 2022: Lab 2035, 1884, 1565; LD 1356, 1211, 1202; Grn 708, 696, 467; Con 627, 451, 435
This is surely when the Liberal Democrats get back onto Lewisham London Borough Council. They must have won there in the 2018 by-election, IMHO. I was born not far from Blackheath in Greenwich just across the borough boundary and spent the first two years of my life there. The Lib Dems underperform in this ward, IMO.
