We appear to have an answer as to whether the two Hennebrys in Clydebank are related: Fiona (Lab) is the aunt of Nathan (Comm).

Greenwich percentages and changes from 2022, using top vote method
Con 47.1% (+3.6) Lab 38.2% (-5.8) RefUK 8% (+4.6) Green 3.5% (new) LD 3.1% (-6,1)
If you use the total vote method it’s Con -0.5 and Lab -9.4
On a small sample size, The Conservatives local results have not been too bad over the last few weeks.

Yes, I think the Tories will be happy with that. The postal votes would have been sent out and a good number of those returned, before the anniversary of D-Day.

Well they did only hold that seat by 10 votes in 2022. I don't think Greenwich council is particularly unpopular, but there may be a wish to maintain some sort of opposition on it and unlike the general election of course control of the council did not in the slightest way depend on the result. Maybe we should have predicted a Conservative hold, but logically a ) the Tory councillor was a veteran who presumably had a personal vote and b ) the Tories are weaker than in 2022, so this is quite a good result for the Tories. They shouldn't however delude themselves into thinking that it will help them beat Clive Efford in the general election.

West Dunbartonshire is a Lab hold with 1,425 elected on the 4th stage No further details except the Soveriety, Communism, and LD all got knocked out That seems a really good result for Labour and another poor one for the SNP, given that their top candidate was so far in front of Labour's top candidate in 2022

So is it still the case that the last person to win any election for the SNP was elected under Nicola Sturgeon?
