I think there were also some by-elections for Leigh on Sea Town Council but I can’t find any results. Good spot! Also can't find results yet, but candidates were:

Leigh-on-Sea Town Council There was a by-election on 15 August 2024 in Elms ward (which we appear to have missed in this column), caused by the resignation of Mark Flewitt (Con). Elms (4 May 2023) – Con 3 unopposed Elms (15 August 2024) – Independent Leigh Resident 208, Independent 207, Independents Representing Residents Not a Party 55 The three by-elections on 3 October 2024 were caused by the resignations of Anne Robinson (Con) (Elms), Owen Cartey (Con) (Highlands) and Murat Agdeve (Con) (Thames). According to the Yellow Advertiser, they were alleged to have resigned amid an allegation of bullying by residents. The council had suffered a series of controversies since Tories took over last year. Police had been called to meetings amid residents’ calls for some Tory councillors to resign over the way the council has been run.
