Two by-elections of potential importance there. Cheadle West & Gatley should be safe as houses...but it might be hard work to have two defences so close together or indeed at the same time.
I don't think they'll have too much of a problem, would have waited 3 weeks or so to allow it to collide with the aftermath of the budget though. I can't see Labour making inroads, and with the closure of the Conservative Office in Hazel Grove I can't see them having the appetite either.

I'm in an inter-racial marriage, obviously. My future children will be biracial. No place for racism in 2024.
