Is he even old enough to vote? Two facts that I thought were well known, but seems to have passed by a lot of people on here and Twitter:
- Being old enough to vote means that you are legally old enough to stand for parliament; - West Belfast is not in any way an Alliance target. |

- Being old enough to vote means that you are legally old enough to stand for parliament; But this has only been the case since 2006. (Said fact was then complicated again more recently by the extension of the franchise for some elections in Scotland and Wales.) |

Which means that if the concept of the voting age and the standing age being the same were a person, it would be old enough to stand for parliament  |

A big issue naturally in Twinbrook and Poleglass as well as Andersonstown. Perhaps not so much on The Shankhill.
