John Lamont is another of these dripping wet formidable campaigners who add nothing of value to Parliament. The ideal compromise candidate. I think what's left of the Scottish Tory MPs will all vote for John Lamont to be Tory leader for the chance at the firsts Scots UK Tory leader since Douglas-Home.

I am keeping an eye on the LD vote here. It may come off the rock bottom. We will see (btw that isn't me saying they will win - they won't).

Honestly I think they're too far gone here – Inverness, Argyll and West Aberdeenshire where they still have a councillor base are probably better bets for a rural resurgence next time around.

Now that would be a constituency!

Now that would be a constituency! For goodness' sakes, please don't give the Boundary Commission ideas! Don't worry, they'd choose a much more sensible name.
Like Inverness, North West Cairngorms, Aberdeenshire West, Northern Argyllshire, Loch Ness and Argyll South
