Constituency guide is here: vote-2012.proboards.com/thread/18084/portsmouth-southThis will be a very comfortable Labour hold with Labour activists being told to move en masse to North. The big question is the residual Conservative vote In a constituency which is rapidly going "trendy". I would imagine the LD campaign here would be to establish a decent second place going forward.

The Conservative candidate is ofc campaigning in Portsmouth North.
The Q here is how the candidates behind Morgan are arrainged. And how far Morgan finishes in front.

My prediction - Labour - 55% (+6) Conservatives -20% (-17) Reform - 10% (+8) Lib Dems - 10% (-1) Green - 4% (new) PIP - 1% (new)
Morgan should be returned very safely. Clearly it's not just the students who are supporting him, judging by the rows of Vote Labour boards in Eastney, Craneswater, St Thomas etc. Despite the Tory wipeout in local elections, I think they will still secure a very distant second, with Reform heavily eating into their vote. Despite their dominance in local elections, I cannot see the Lib Dems improving much beyond their 2019 performance - especially as they no longer have a sitting councillor at the helm.

Really can't see the Tories finishing second, but you never know!
