The obvious successor to the huge Milton Keynes North seat. The almanac guide can be found at vote-2012.proboards.com/thread/17823/milton-keynes-north2/3 urban Milton Keynes, 1/3 rural Newport Pagnell, Olney and surrounding countryside. Should be a good Tory prospect, and better than the current MK North. It takes heavily Labour Central Milton Keynes estates out. But I make Labour firm favourites in the current climate - the Tories only won 1 ward here last year, came third defending a by-election seat last September, and historically lost Olney last year to Labour. Ben Everitt MP (Con, Milton Keynes North) defends - I don't believe he's picked up any personal vote especially compared to his predecessor Mark Lancaster, but maybe that's my biases showing. Chris Curtis (Lab, pollster for YouGov / Opinium) challenges Lib Dem candidate selected, but as I haven't seen the name publicised anywhere, I'll wait until I'm sure this is public. Alan Francis stands for the Green - veteran candidate over decades and a thoroughly nice guy.
